We are committed to a transparent and rigorous selection process to ensure the safety of our students and the quality of our camps.

  • Shortlisting Criteria: All applications will be evaluated strictly against the skills, values, and attitudes outlined in the Person Specification above.

  • The Online Interview & Assessment: Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an online interview. During this interview, you will be asked value-based questions regarding your attitudes toward safeguarding. You will also be asked to complete a short, practical assessment to showcase your facilitation skills.

  • Reference Checks: We will directly contact your three provided professional referees to verify your employment history. We will specifically ask your referees about your suitability to work with children. Open references or written testimonials will not be accepted.

  • DBS & Barred List Checks: Because this role involves "Regulated Activity," any offer of employment is strictly conditional upon obtaining a satisfactory Enhanced DBS Certificate, which will include a mandatory check against the Children’s Barred List.

  • In person workshop interview: Following an online Interview, we may offer a preliminary contract to pencil in your dates of work. We will then invite you to an in-person interview and group workshop where we can see your teaching style. You will be required to bring all safeguarding paperwork such as Enhanced DBS certificates to the in-person workshop for validation.
